The blend draws on the classic varieties of southwest France in high demand for high-quality rosé, Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah.

This is a lively, fresh, and captivating rosé that was destined to be bottled for a prestigious brand and shipped to the US, but the deal fell through, and we were simply in the right place at the right time to get our hands on it. We had to move quickly so we deployed our No Name brand, which was agreeable to the producer as it keeps everything a little anonymous and have bottled it under the Vin De France moniker to obscure things a little further. Adding a little intrigue, we hope as well. In short, we have secured a lovely parcel of high-class Provence inspired rosé at a song.

Sometimes we can't tell you who the actual winemaker is. The usual reason for this is that they make expensive wine under their own name and they don't want the world to know they're also supplying their wine much cheaper under a different label. Why do they do this? Either they need an injection of cashflow or they've produced too much and don't want to swamp the market and cheapen their brand (or maybe we've just been able to sweet-talk them into doing us a favour).
