Region:Tungsten Verdelho has a remarkable vibrancy of fresh fruit and decadent, voluptuous yeastiness that the 2nd fermentation and 2 years plus lees ageing has imparted. Way back in 2010, after a long day's blending in the Cape, Nico cracked open a bottle of bubbles to toast our achievements. We tasted. We were blown away. It was a private stash of sparkling Verdelho he made for his daughter's wedding. We asked: could you make this again, for Virgin Wines? And that's precisely what happened the next vintage.
