Gabriëlskloof Wine Estate is a picturesque winery in the Overberg, east of Cape Town. Purchased in 2001 by Bernhard Heyns, it was chosen for its cool maritime climate and diverse soils. Today, the estate produces elegant, terroir-driven wines, with a focus on Rhône-style blends that reflect the character of the Bot River region.
"The nose is very open and instantly attractive with notes of blue fruit, violets and a little spice. Darker fruit sits underneath and slowly comes out alongside black olive undertone.
