Grown on the steep, sun-soaked Grand Cru Brand hillside in Alsace, this Riesling captures the region's signature tension between ripeness and razor-sharp freshness. Beneath the vines lies ancient granite, lending a flinty edge to the citrus, white peach and blossom notes. Traditional winemaking techniques and hands-on in the vineyards, preserves fresh fruit, aromatic qualities and delivers elegance. A wine with tight structure and lovely fruit balance.
The Winemaker The Winemaker
Daniel Gerold
Originating from Alsace, Daniel Gerold was introduced to wine by his father, which eventually inspired him to follow a path towards a career in the industry. After his winemaking studies, Daniel travelled across Burgundy, Champagne and New Zealand, gaining a wide-ranging knowledge of grape varieties, terroirs and techniques. In 2020, he headed back to the Alsace and started to work at Cave de Turckheim.
