Graciano is starting to develop a cult following in the region of Rioja. There are some ancient vineyard plantings of the variety here, but it's always lived in the shadow of Tempranillo, quietly working its magic in the background of some iconic blends. However, today's curious wine drinker is seeking something new, and varietal Graciano grown here really delivers. Naturally juicy and with dark, brooding black fruit character with a sprinkle of cracked black pepper.

José Javier Fernández, from Rincón de Soto, brings over 30 years of winemaking experience, including 25 at Bodegas Corcel. His deep understanding of the region and focus on fruit quality have been central to expressing Rioja's character and driving the continual improvement of this respected bodega.
