Region:Burgundy - Coteaux Bourguignons
From the rolling southern reaches of Burgundy, this 100% Gamay is full of red cherry, raspberry and a hint of wild strawberry. Grown on granite-rich slopes near the Beaujolais border, it captures the region's lighter, brighter side. There's a lovely silky texture to the fruit, and tannins that work perfectly with the natural fresh acidity and there's a gentle earthy edge on the finish that adds a little complexity.

Michaël Lachaud
Since 1993, Michaël Lachaud has shaped the style of Vignerons des Pierres Dorées. Raised in the Loire Valley’s Valençay vineyards, he trained in agronomy before turning to viticulture, graduating in Beaune in 1991. Experience across Bordeaux and the Loire refined his craft. Now based in Beaujolais, he brings energy and precision to wines that express the finesse and richness of the Pierres Dorées terroir.
"We farm these vines on old granite slopes where Gamay thrives. Our aim is to let the fruit speak clearly and our focus is on wines that are bright, fresh and unforced. This is a wine for sharing, inspired by the easy rhythm of life in southern Burgundy." - Michael Lachaud, Winemaker.
