Les Arbousiers Réserve Syrah grabs your attention from first swirl, with a nose of ripe blackberries and blueberries. Beneath that fruit core, savoury hints of black pepper and violet flowers mix with subtle spice. On the palate it is full-bodied, rich and structured where velvety tannins provide backbone without overpowering the fruit. The long finish, with lingering liquorice and spicy cocoa notes round things out and ultimately complete what is a mightily impressive bottle of wine.
