Clos des Cordeliers is a wonderful old domaine and produces a range of exceptional wines that capture the essence of the place perfectly. The Cuvée Prestige is crafted exclusively from old Cabernet Franc vines planted on the region's famous limestone soils, known locally as 'Pierre de Champigny'. The vineyard is blessed with an ideal south-south-west exposure, ensuring maximum sunshine hours delivering the winemaking team with perfectly ripe grapes that are full of character.

Marie-Françoise Ratron-Galet
Since 1932, the Ratron family has managed Le Clos des Cordeliers, a 13-hectare, walled vineyard in the historic village of Champigny. Today, fourth-generation winemaker Marie-Françoise Ratron-Galet manages the estate with the support of her team, focusing on Cabernet Franc. In 2021, she planted 3.5 hectares of Chenin, the Loire Valley's other iconic grape, marking a significant new chapter in the domaine's history.
