The Wine The Wine
South Africa
Region:Swartland
The demand for this winery's coveted Durif is so high that most interested parties are relegated to the waiting list indefinitely. However, thanks to our direct relationship with the producer, we’ve skipped right to the front of the queue and got ‘First Refusal’ on this exceptional parcel of top-class Swartland rarity. The Durif is intensely flavoured and deeply fruited, which we need to temper a little with a splash of high-class Shiraz that adds a little signature fresh blackcurrant and peppery spice to the mix. Rich and rounded, the finish is long and sumptuous.

"Crafted from premium Swartland parcels, this Durif Shiraz blend has intense dark fruit, supple tannins and a touch of spice. We blended for purity, vibrancy and our unmistakably bold, fruit-driven signature" - Jacques Theron, Winemaker.
