We released a batch of a very similar wine to this many years ago and, at the time, Steve was sure it could age for many years to come and so kept some components back. He wasn't wrong and it has developed into something very special, softening and rounding whilst the fruit has evolved slowly as the months and years have passed. A multi-varietal blend built around a core of dense, chewy, concentrated Nero d’Avola from a top vineyard site and, as usual, bottled in a very limited quantity.

"Man, I loved this wine back in the day, 5 different varieties (Nero, Touriga, Durif, Shiraz and Cab Sauv). 3 different regions (McLaren Vale, Barossa Valley and Langhorne Creek).
