2019 was nothing short of stellar in the McLaren Vale, delivering exceptional fruit packed with intensity, struck through with tight tannins and lively purity. The nose is rich with dark cassis, black plum and a little mint from Cabernet, seamlessly woven with Shiraz’s plush blackberry, spice and a touch of dark chocolate. The palate is full-bodied yet polished, with fine tannins and a lingering savoury finish.

We have no intention of settling for all the wins we've had, we're going to continue to push the boundaries and bring you truly exceptional wines that always carry his signature drinkability.
"Crafted from a single block of vines in the McLaren Flat, bringing 40-year-old Cabernet and 100-year-old Shiraz together with the aim of making a classic old school Aussie claret. We used the best oak, worked the grapes hard in the winery and it’s been a beast since it was bottled.
