There is a real skill required to make delicious rosé and French vignerons have now come to understand that to make refreshing rosé one must specifically 'think pink' and prepare to pick the grapes earlier than for red wine. Harvesting starts third week of August for this rosé, with grapes being picked in the early hours of the day, before the sun reaches its peak. Once in the cellar, the grapes are pressed directly and the pink-tinted juices are transferred to chilled tanks to keep the delicate aromas and luscious flavours at their most intense.

Samantha Bailey
Our strong winemaking philosophy developed to achieve our aim of making quality wines, which are representative of the region and variety at every price point. Minimal intervention in the winery, use of indigenous yeasts where possible, maximum aeration of the reds and judicious use of oak to enhance the wines where necessary are key to our success in making very drinkable and food friendly wines.
"The dominant varietal is Grenache, providing white florals and depth. To this we added a sprinkle of Cinsault for some spice and a lick of Vermentino for the zest and not forgetting a dribble of Syrah to add a delicate touch of red berries." - Samantha Bailey, Winemaker.
