Packed with stone fruit, melon and white florals accompanied by a subtle touch of softening oak, this is a fruity white with plenty of character.

Adriaan Foot
Adriaan Foot is the Senior Winemaker at Stanton and Killeen in Rutherglen, Victoria, bringing a wealth of global experience and a deep passion for the craft. Originally from Cape Town, South Africa, Adriaan earned his bachelor's degree in Viticulture and Oenology from Stellenbosch University in 2007. In 2019, Adriaan found his way to Western Australia's Great Southern region, where he spent four vintages working with some of the area's most exceptional cool-climate fruit. His expertise caught the attention of Stanton and Killeen, renowned for their famous fortified and Portuguese varietal table wines, and he joined their team in 2023. Adriaan's commitment to winemaking is further evidenced by his completion of the AWRI's Advanced Wine Assessment Course and his role as a judge at several esteemed wine shows in South Africa and Australia. His diverse experience and dedication to his craft make him an asset to Stanton and Killeen.
"We planted three Portuguese white varieties (Alvarinho, Arinto & Antao Vaz) in 2015 to complement our existing red Portuguese varieties, create diversity in our white portfolio and, most importantly, to plant vines well-adapted to a warm and dry climate.
