Winemaker Jose Miguel Ovalle produces artful wines, deftly balancing elegant restraint and complexity with the full-bodied, fruity drive that wine drinkers love. This juicy Carignan is filled with red fruit flavours, with notes of red cherry and raspberry which are complemented by the earthier notes of cinnamon and star anise, synonymous with Carignan. It’s these notes that make it the perfect match for North African recipes such as lamb or root vegetable tagines.

Jose Miguel Ovalle
After studying Oenology, Jose Miguel created his first vintage in 2000. He then spent the next few years between his homeland of Chile and Spain, gaining further experience. However in the last decade he has remained on Chilean soil due to his passion for the land and his love of the wines it creates.
