Finding old vine stock in Australia is like discovering a hidden treasure, so it's truly special to be able to create wine from these cherished vines. From the foothills of Willunga, this powerful, brooding red is finely balanced with dark cherry, plum and liquorice notes lifted by spice and cedar, with soft powdery tannins adding finesse.

Andréa Maxwell
Andréa grew up in South Africa and completed her degree in Viticulture & Oenology at the University of Stellenbosch. Her love for wine developed early, starting a wine course while still in school. After two vintages in South Africa, she moved to Australia and has been ingrained in the industry since. In her spare time, she enjoys walking with her partner and their gorgeous English Cocker Spaniel, Darcy, through their own Shiraz vineyard in the heart of McLaren Vale.
