The Wine

Country of origin:

France

Region:

Rhône - Châteauneuf-du-Pape

This exclusive Châteauneuf-du-Pape was blended at the winery, using the best vats and barrels the cellar had to offer. The finished wine is constructed by combining a selection of the region's classic varieties to create a wine full of character, power and elegance. Notes of dark fruit and toasty oak on the nose lead onto a palate that has lashings of plush fruit, lasting long into the finish that is marked by hits of local herbs and balanced tannins.

The Winemaker

Fabrice Brunel
Winemaker:

Fabrice Brunel

Fabrice Brunel, son of legendary winemaker André, heads up the team at this fantastic Châteauneuf estate. A winery renowned for producing a range of exceptional wines that are marked by an elegance on the palate that many other producers in the region forgo in a quest for out and out power. A fabulous winery that we've enjoyed a long working relationship with and their wines, from the bottom up, come highly recommended.

"A classic marriage of traditional red Rhône grape varieties that have spent some time in top-class oak barrels to soften the palate and add a little sweet spiciness. A powerful wine that is also very elegant and drinkable." - Fabrice Brunel, Winemaker.
