Sauvignon Blanc is Chile's most widely planted white grape variety, so the winemakers here really know how to get the best out of this grape. The fruit for El Nubarrón is mainly sourced from vineyards in the moderate, cool Casablanca region, which is the perfect home for Sauvignon. Winemaker Rodrigo Moletto has focused on an easy-going style that is just as good on its own as with all sorts of food.

Rodrigo Moletto
Born in 1980 to a traditional winemaking family, Rodrigo's grandfather Rodolfo Rossle was one of Chile's first winemakers. Following in his grandfather's footsteps, Rodrigo studied Oenology and Winemaking at the Universidad Catolica de Chile before joining the Chilean Grape Group in 2008. Since then, he has made himself well known in Chile for sourcing grapes from new terrior and producing wines with quality in mind.
