The Peller Estate vineyards are based near Lake Ontario, a stone's throw from the spectacular Niagara Falls. The proximity to this huge body of water is the key to their success, moderating the vineyard's temperature and ensuring even ripening throughout the growing season. The cold snap in winter is guaranteed in this neck of the woods and when it hits sub-10 degrees out they go to pick the frozen bunches!

Katie started out life amongst agriculture and knew from a young age that's where she'd end up. She's travelled the world and made wine in France and New Zealand but has returned to Ontario and absolutely loves it!
