We needed to make some Pinot Noir to add to our stunning Black Flag own-production portfolio. Steve Grimley came up with the goods beautifully by selecting a great little vineyard in the Adelaide Hills. The Hills are important because a long, cool growing season is essential for Pinot, to develop all of those sexy aromatics and flavours. Strawberries, cherries and confected notes lead to a soft, spicy palate with the red fruit, anise and five spice.
