This region is red-hot in terms of hype and is home to many of the Cape's most exciting winemakers. Here the dry-farmed vines produce tight crops of excellent-quality grapes. Billy Bosch Highwire Chenin Blanc is made from the finest dry-grown bush-vines. Winemaker Jacques Theron harnesses this naturally formed nectar to create an enigmatic and characterful white with plenty of weight. Pear and orchard fruit leads on to a seamless citrus and mineral-laden finish. Simply ravishing.

Jacques Theron
Jacques Theron earned his Viticulture & Enology degree from Stellenbosch in 2003 and has been devoted to winemaking ever since. Now Senior Winemaker at Riebeek Valley Wine Co., he focuses on expressing the Kasteelberg's diverse terroir, crafting wines that showcase purity, place and vintage character.
