Chile is a land of ice and fire. The four seasons are very marked, with cold and rainy winters - and dry, prolonged summers without rain. Luckily, in spite of these blazing summers which help to ripen the grapes, the vines remain watered by the cool snow melt flowing down from the mountains. This makes for beautiful wines like this Merlot, which has a deliciously fresh character due to the coastal vineyards where the fruit comes from.

Founded in 1885, Undurraga is one of Chile's oldest wineries, where over 140 years of tradition meets a pioneering spirit of innovation. Hernán Amenábar, a graduate of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, brings 35 years of vineyard and winery experience. Since joining the technical team in 2020, he has focused on crafting high-quality wines for export.
