The oceanic influence in Muscadet has the potential to cause havoc, but in tandem with good levels of sunshine, the fruit can ripen well yet still retain that maritime freshness. This vintage offered exactly that. The Chateau Jousseliniere reflects this excellent year with lemon and grapefruit on the nose but creaminess on the palate from sur lie ageing. Beautifully fresh and balanced.
