Michel Girard is a very lucky man because he has everything a Sancerre producer could want. Three distinct 'terroirs' that, blended right, give true balance and depth. We then looked at the blend and begged him for a few cases. Blow away, rich, delicious Sancerre like the supermarkets could only dream of.

With our vineyards stretching across some of the finest soils in the entire Loire Valley making good wine would come easily to us. But we are not here to make good wine, we are here to make great wine! It is that which leads us to reduce our crop to the barest minimum, it is that which keeps us harvesting by hand and it is that which makes us use only expensive temperature controlled steel fermentation vats. Great wine is always a union of man and nature and that is what we try to achieve.
Pungent fresh grassy aromas mingle with riper citrus-style fruits, rounder and fuller in the mouth but nevertheless finishing with a pure intensity and zippiness that you'd expect in classy Sancerre. Sauvignon Blanc at it's best!
