After judging for the Sud de France Top 100 competition, and selecting this Lirac Blanc as one of the winners, we were delighted to find that it was yet to be sold in the UK. So a quick chat later, we had a batch on its way. That '15 vintage went down a storm - and sold out. This is the replacement vintage and we are delighted to say it is every bit as good as the original - super-fresh with lots of lemon and lime, nutty layers and a long, intense citrus finish.

Veronique grew up on the vineyard and has fond memories of sticking labels on the back on the bottles (manually!) with her grandmother. Veronique went through Business School and onwards to more study and work in Singapore and Seattle, always making time to head home for harvest and get her hands dirty. After agreeing to hold some tastings in Seattle to promote her father's wines, the connection reignited her love for the vineyards of home, so off she went, back home to take over her father's mantle.
"The Lirac white is only 5% of the total production of the Cru but what a treat. My dad and my uncle created this wine in 1983. They exactly knew what they wanted, a very mineral, fresh and fruity wine. It has a great complexity with a lot of finesse.
