The 'CVC' classification in Rioja, meaning a multi-vintage blend, was once used through convenience that enabled winemakers to blend across vintages to clear out their cellars making space for the new-vintage fruit. However, the pioneers of this region flipped this practice on its head, recognising that this opened the door to create a wine with no restrictions, with full access to the whole barrel store, regardless of vintage, with style and quality the only consideration. Casamiento 14 is our super Rioja, exclusively blended by us in a style we know our customers will love, in collaboration with Jose Javier Fernández.

José Javier Fernández, from Rincón de Soto, brings over 30 years of winemaking experience, including 25 at Bodegas Corcel. His deep understanding of the region and focus on fruit quality have been central to expressing Rioja's character and driving the continual improvement of this respected bodega.
