The Wine The Wine
France
Region:Rhône - Châteauneuf-du-Pape
A classic southern France red blend that is made up of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre (80/10/10) which are all fermented separately before being brought together and aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. The finished wine is full of red and blackcurrant fruit character with hints of fresh herbs. It is wonderfully rounded with supple and silky tannins and can, and should, be paired up with roasted red meats and strong cheeses.
