This example comes from a family-owned estate in Pfalz that dates back to the 16th century. It has dark bramble and blackcurrant fruit with a twist of black pepper. It has medium weight on the palate, with plenty of structure and pleasing depth to the fruit. This is a great introduction to this wonderful grape!
