Sauvignon Gris is a pink-skinned grape that is a relative of Sauvignon Blanc. This grape was primarily found in Bordeaux but has become a speciality of Chile! It produces less conspicuous aromatics than its sibling, but is a lovely, elegant varietal. La Fama is fresh and clean on the palate with invigorating acidity. On the nose you'll find green fruit, white peach, fresh citrus, blanched almonds and a delicate floral character. It has more in common with a Cortese (Gavi) or Pinot Blanc than your typical Sauvignon.
