Maureen Paillet likes nothing more than giant slaying. She has set her sights very high, Châteauneuf-du-Pape no less, to make this Grenache Mourvèdre blend for half the price. The combination of grapes is found in the more illustrious region and Maureen has managed to squeeze every last drop of goodness out of them for her version. It's a triumph that, whilst not identical stylistically, delivers bangs-for-buck in spades! Delicious saturated red and black fruits abound in the fruity, mouth filling compote.
