This Corbières Blanc is a really decadent wine, where each mouthful has the kind of impact that a good white Châteauneuf-du-Pape has. Chateau Aumedos has a rich, sun drenched nose of ripe peaches and tropical fruit. The palate is unctuous and fleshy, with stone fruit and delicate hints of wood. It is intensely rich with just enough acid to stop it from being overblown.
