Although this Chenin is labelled Western Cape, it's from a really specific vineyard that delivers cooler and more restrained fruit. Much of it is from south-facing vines less exposed to the African sunshine. On the nose you'll be greeted with guava and apple fruit, whilst on the palate this is joined by a zesty verve. It is a versatile white which will make a lovely aperitif, but will sit equally well with a fragrant prawn curry, a cheese stuffed chicken breast or green salads with a citrus dressing.
