The Three Gables Winemakers Reserve Colombard is the logical extension of a couple of very small project wines we recently did out of the more boutique parts of the Cape. The idea was to bring unique parcels of wine to life that normally would be lost in anonymous commercial blends. Although it's regarded as a workhorse grape, Colombard can be really engaging with lovely citrus juice and green fruit freshness.
