Dominio de Laertes is a 50:25:25 blend of Graciano, Tempranillo and Garnacha. This is the classic trinity of Riojan grapes, but by having Graciano as the dominant variety it gives this wine a unique, age-worthy structure and an intensity of flavour. The fruit is hand harvested from the very best plots that belong to the family and are fermented separately in concrete tanks before being aged for 6 months in French oak barrels. After this the three varieties are blended to create a wine with character and finesse.
