As with all other world-famous wine styles, it comes down to the best vineyard sites. This is grown on the ideal slopes ('rive') of the village of Guia bang in the heart of Valdobbiadene, Prosecco's premium sub-region. Zero dosage (no added sweetness when bottled) allows the wine to express fully the complexity that Prosecco can produce. Fresh citrus and apple, of course, but mineral notes with hints of thyme and wild flowers. Superb!
