Heinrichshof's vineyards are perfectly positioned on a steep, south-facing site that gets the sun full in the face. The ripeness is evident in the wine, with a richness about it, but not at the expense of the refreshing acidity the slate soil and the cool nights give the wine. Great balance, precise flavours, great quality, and inexpensive - not a bad old combination.
