Wine from Bollinger is only elevated to the legendary RD level in the very best vintages. The 2004 developed slowly in bottle in the cool cellars below the winery into something truly magical. It even came as a bit of a surprise to Gilles Descôtes who at harvest felt the 2004 wines would be great but not like this. The complexity is off the chart in aromas and the palate has a unique balance of both freshness and power. You'll find citrus and orchard fruit layered with spice and a toasty richness that adds depth and length. One of the world's most sought after wines that will age for many years to come.
