The region of Reuilly in central Loire lies around 50 miles south west of Sancerre and focuses on white wines made from Sauvignon Blanc. Fortunately they also produce a small amount of Pinot Noir. Domaine Jamain is one of the region's best and the aroma of this wine is superbly attractive with heaps of red fruit reminding of raspberries, cherries and red currants. The palate is super juicy and at the heart of this wine the combination of red fruit and very fine tannins makes for a very impressive mouthful.
