A long, warm and sunny summer allowed this Cabernet Franc to ripen well. The strawberry and raspberry notes are delicately extracted from the fruit. And these primary and pretty flavours are retained and protected with a long and cool fermentation. It's scientific yet very natural, which translates into a very clean and precise style of rosé.

Fabrice Delalande
Fabrice Delalande is the sixth generation of Delalandes to work his family's vineyards in Chinon and the third generation to live in a farmhouse among the vines. He joined his father in 1989 and at that point the family decided to begin bottling their own wine instead of selling only to négociants.
"My vineyards are South facing to help my grapes reach full maturity in the cool Loire Valley. I made this rosé using both the traditional saignee (bleeding) method along with the modern pressurage direct technique, blended together to give a pale pink colour and a very fruity, dry and refreshing style of wine."
