The Wine The Wine
Australia
Region:Adelaide Hills
If there was ever a wine to put the 'ABC' crowd on the back foot (Anything BUT Chardonnay!), this belter, from the cool vineyards of the Adelaide Hills, is it! Great wines are born in the vineyard and we're lucky enough to work with a guy who owns some of South Australia's most prized sites. If he doesn't own them -he's good mates with those who do! This lightly oaked Chardonnay is an expressive, fruit driven dry white. A wine made for lemon roast chicken and crunchy rosemary potatoes. Don't disappoint it!

"Proper premium, very gently oaked Aussie Chardonnay, made the right way. With one eye in Burgundy and one on the lovely, high altitude vineyards that grew the grapes. Expect Burgundian texture and richness, matched to zesty orchard fruit and a sleek acidity." Andrew Baker, Wine Buyer.
