Every blue moon or so a priceless cache of Show Reserve wines is released from the grand old Yalumba cellar to give the world a fleeting glimpse of dessert wine heaven. This classic Aussie style - super-ripe Muscat fortified and oak-aged for many years - is a luscious, tawny-coloured essence of liquefied raisins lashed with chocolate, caramel, spices, nuts and brandy. A delicious dessert wine. And lovely with a decent chunk of Stilton too.

Had problem opening this bottle but was a corkscrew one not a bottle top, think this was the very sweet dessert wine, I bought a while ago

I bought this from the London '23 tasting to save for the Christmas pudding but had it with soft cheeses and I'm so glad I did. It's unctuous sweetness went beautifully and stood up perfectly where a French sweet wine by comparison fell short.I will definitely treat myself to this again.
