This is a medium to full bodied wine with notes of red fruits, currants and hints of vanilla, spices and cedar. There's a lovely structure to this wine and the natural ripe fruit characters are all held together by fine tannins. Have a go at some homemade empenades, get some friends round and introduce them to a new wave ultra modern Malbec.

We commissioned this wine from our winemaking team in Oz to push the limit on the massively popular Albacore red and they have delivered in spades. This lavish creation has all the hallmarks of a top wine; beautifully textured, layered and lush fruit that fills the mouth, as well as a classic Aussie richness of fruit. It will also cellar well for at least a decade leaving you, at the end (should you make it), with a much more gastronomic and complex beast. Try it (at any time) with rare beef.

La Novena ('the ninth') references the ninth parcel of Garnacha that completes the wine. Garnacha plantings in Cariñena are aplenty thanks to the grape's excellent suitability to the region. But however vast these plantings may be, there will always be little pockets with a slightly different microclimate or soil that changes the wine. These pockets, or 'parcels', can be brought in and vinified separately and then put back together based on taste, so you can ensure the wine that ends up in the glass ticks all the boxes.

In the spirit of discovery, Found & Forged comes from hidden coastal vineyard pockets in Chile's sun-drenched Valle Central. It reveals generous black cherry and bramble fruit, enriched by hints of prune and coconut. A touch of oak ageing brings a warm, toasty finish, capturing the essence of patience, place and the satisfaction of a find worth sharing.

The Mediterranean has provided inspiration to some of history's most talented artists and this series of wines (Artists' Playground) doffs the cap to their most colourful and eye-catching pieces. The image of brightly coloured boats bobbing in the harbour is one of the most memorable from visits to spots along France's southern coastline and like the famous artists themselves was an inspiration to the label design. So, pour yourself a chilled glass of this berry fruit-laden rosé and let yourself be whisked away to a sunny seashore, if only metaphorically on this occasion.

If you've marked rosés down as the overly sweet, sickly wines of the Mateus era then think again. Modern rosés are refreshing, fruitier and more substantial than a white but crisper and lighter than a red. They're perfect to enjoy all year round, not only in the summer. This rosé has all the zest and verve of a Pinot Grigio, with some of the flavour and colour from the pink skins squeezed into it. Refreshing, thirst-quenching and moreish, it pleases everyone (including vegans).

Wines that are housed in our 16 Little Black Pigs range are firm customer favourites and this cracking rosé is bursting with vibrant red fruit character. It shines in the glass with a delicate light pink hue, and we recommend serving it nice and chilled so that it delivers maximum refreshment, and the fresh strawberry, raspberry, and watermelon flavours are at their most intense. A versatile wine that pairs beautifully with seafood, salads, or simply enjoyed on its own.

All too often Viognier is just too much. Too intensely aromatic. Too rich. Too alcoholic. But! When you turn it down from 11 and aim for a solid 8 you can really appreciate the flavour profile of this classy grape variety. We don't put anything under our huge 'Black Pig' label unless it really is the cream of the crop, so expect no pulled punches here. This wine bridges the gap between New World fruitiness and Old World elegance. Plenty of stone fruit character with a freshness that belies the warm clime.

Semillon, originally known as the grape of Sauternes, has made a fantastic new home down under. In the Barossa Valley, with its warmer climate, they have reinvented Semillon in the classic Australian style. With lifted aromatics of orange blossom, lemon, and sugar snap peas, it is the perfect refreshing tipple for all occasions. Served chilled alongside a seafood salad or chicken satay for the ultimate treat.

Here's something that's very up and coming - white Rioja. Yes, that's right, white Rioja! It hails from a family-owned Bodegas in La Rioja, meaning it's been made with the best care and attention - and that means one thing - an all-round fantastic wine. This wine is bright yellow with hints of gold and an explosive apricot nose. Its character is rounded and fresh at the same time. You'll find grapefruit, soft pear, honeysuckle and almond notes in this beauty, with a lingering finish of stone fruit... heavenly.
