These high-altitude vineyards have a unique feature that many others cannot boast. It's not uncommon to hear the screech of an eagle that can be seen soaring above the vines, searching for prey. The altitude here gives a freshness to an otherwise dark-fruited Tempranillo with hints of chocolate and spice. It's an ideal red to drink on a cool evening, but stands up very well to stews and casseroles too.

At harvest, which takes place from the end of February to the middle of March each vintage, grapes of wonderful concentration and vibrancy are hand-harvested before cool fermentation to preserve Sauvignon Blanc's racy goodness. Crisp and zingy with mouth-watering citrus and peach fruit. This is a white to serve chilled with good company.

With exuberantly fresh citrus fruit at its heart, crunchy acidity and long, lively finish.

The Pizo series is about expression of varietal character and, at over 650m above sea level in the foothills of the Iberian Mountains, this is a perfect spot for vines to show their true charm. The south-facing aspect ripens the grapes with ease but the altitude keeps freshness at the forefront of the wine. Pizo Garnacha Blanca has an elegant combination of citrus and white flower aromas with a subtle mineral background. On the palate it has characteristic herbal notes and sour pear. Do not hold back - this is a stunner.
