Taceo, which translates to 'keep quiet', is an exclusive label, only used when we come across a truly exceptional parcel from a producer who would prefer to remain anonymous. Often slipped quietly out of the side door of the most prestigious cellars in the world, this Margaret River red fits the bill of Taceo perfectly. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Shiraz, loaded with dark berries, ripe plum and a hint of subtle spice. Complex yet effortlessly drinkable, it is beautifully structured, wonderfully rich and layered, just remember to keep the secret of where it came from!

Aguila Chillando Tempranillo 2024

These high-altitude vineyards have a unique feature that many others cannot boast. It's not uncommon to hear the screech of an eagle that can be seen soaring above the vines, searching for prey. The altitude here gives a freshness to an otherwise dark-fruited Tempranillo with hints of chocolate and spice. It's an ideal red to drink on a cool evening, but stands up very well to stews and casseroles too.

L'Impression Rouge Vin De France 2025

The catch-all Vin De France appellation can be much more than its somewhat lowly status might suggest! It is a truly exciting new wave of winemaking thinking and the wines labelled as Vin de France often have small parcels of wines that are from very lofty regions that we blend with great value base wines to delivery true value for money and of course bash the rule book about the head a little. This delicious Grenache led red has a lovely parcel of Syrah included in the blend and a very special splash of seriously rich and ripe Carignan that really sets this wine above its VDF status!

Solpiantez Spumante Brut Rose Millesimato 2024

What's great about this bottle of bubbles is its multi-dimensional fruit profile. The nose suggests a sweet and creamy rosé bubbly with very attractive ripe strawberries and cream. But the palate turns this character on its head with fresh red berry fruit coming to the fore and giving this great value wine a real crispness. The secret to that berry character is a small parcel of Raboso which offers the wine a beautiful colour too.

Veneto is home to a number of Italy's classic wine regions but it is the sparkling wines from Prosecco that currently have a buzz surrounding them. The best sparkling wines have both delicacy and intensity, something we nailed on a recent trip out to see top Prosecco winemaker Umberto Menini. A lovely style of fizz packed with apple and pear fruit and a little leafiness adding to its charm. A citrus-led palate and excellent intensity make Senti the perfect aperitif and celebratory sparkler.

The vines are situated in the Voor-Paardeberg area, a small ward bordering Swartland and Agter-Paarl. It's a region of much diversity and is planted with some less familiar Cape varieties, allowing us to create truly unique wines, working alongside some of the Cape's most talented winemakers. This is a perfectly balanced white that captures the ever-progressing approach to winemaking in South Africa and we love its energy and engaging flavour.

Just outside the ancient city of Rome, our winemaker Ivano Emiliani is working to create a beautifully fresh Pinot Grigio. Lazio is renowned for bold and fruity Pinot Grigio. By working with the volcanic soils, Ivano has managed to maintain the fresh and zingy acidity whilst creating sumptuous notes of lychee and pear. As a result, this wine is perfectly balanced and harmonious. A great tipple to be enjoyed chilled in the sun.
