Our entire range will always boast incredible value for money, but our more upmarket bottles deserve a spotlight too. This case is all about celebrating and indulging in the finer things in life - but, it's us, so you'll still save a little bit of money in doing so. We start with a 25th Anniversary release from London Cru that boasts notes of British strawberries, red cherry and a hint of flint and a limited release McLaren Vale Shiraz Viognier with lifted and spicy aromatics. In the whites, if you are going to buy a great bottle of Sauvignon Blanc, make it one from a family-run estate in Pouilly - the Pierre Marchand is exemplary with expertly layered notes of gooseberry, blackcurrant leaf and hints of citrus. The Pazo Senorans Albarino is another excellent choice with fresh aromas of apple, apricot and pear alongside the characteristic hit of citrus. All this and plenty more.

This exclusive collaboration between London Cru and Virgin Wines showcases a small parcel of grapes from their Sussex vines. Crafted from Pinot Noir Précoce, an early ripening clone of Pinot Noir, a variety perfectly suited to England's cool climate, this vibrant, light-bodied red bursts with enticing aromas of fresh raspberry, British strawberry, and juicy red cherry, underscored by a subtle hint of flint. Deliciously refreshing and easy-drinking, it pairs beautifully with soft cheeses and charcuterie. And for the very best experience, we recommend serving it lightly chilled.

Using white and red grapes in the same wine may seem like madness, but this has to be one of the most famous blends: Shiraz/Viognier. Steve is very much a fan, and this is wine is his take on it. The Shiraz comes from a windswept site along the Willunga escarpment and the Viognier, in which only the skins were used, just a tad east, down the road. It's beautiful to look at, the aromatics are lifted and spicy, while the palate is as silky and indulgent as it should be. Give this wine another year or two to see it at its best!

The latest stunning creation from Germán and his team, fast becoming Chilean masters of the grape. There is a depth of fruit on the nose with the flavours all playing a black card - blackcurrant, blackberry and black cherries are all distinctly noticeable. With layers of vanilla spice and hints of mint mingle with the delicious, ripe black fruit, it's no wonder this vegan wine is so renowned. Everything is wrapped in a blanket of silky tannins. Echoes of the Bordeaux style, but with the thumping, fruit core only the best New World winemakers can produce.

Nestling on the Right Bank of the Dordogne, the medieval city of Saint-Émilion is as well known for its beautiful old stones as for the wine from its surrounding vineyards. To be given the title ‘Grand Cru’, the wines of the Saint-Émilion appellation must follow a very demanding series of guidelines, tested by a second tasting before bottling. This wine is therefore exceptional in its own right, but what makes it extra special is that this Grand Vin wine by Maison Ginestet is made from grapes sourced from a Grand Cru Classé estate. Their anonymity is your gain; if you purchased the wine under the estate label, you’d be paying twice this price.

Oaky Chardonnay can split opinions, but when done properly the toasty oak underpins the naturally fresh fruit and it is something of true beauty and refinement. Think top end, classy Burgundies like Premiere Cru Meursault or Puligny-Montrachet. Here the balance is perfect: clean, bright citrus flavours nestled against toasted nuts and a long, smooth finish. The oak does not overpower the natural freshness of the Coonawarra fruit but instead works in harmony, making this a true masterpiece.

This family affair wine is a symphony of gooseberry, blackcurrant leaf fruit overlaid with hints of citrus and mineral. It's been over 20 years since Eric took over from father Pierre at his small estate in Pouilly. Eric's childhood was in the vineyards, observing and helping his parents. Inheriting a love of the land, he then studied viticulture and soon began working alongside his father. Father Pierre retired in 1998, so brothers Eric and Pascal teamed up, with the occasional fatherly help still on hand.

Amongst our very best wines, this excellent Spanish white is used to having praise heaped upon it. Maybe it's something to do with its peachy fruit flavours and hints of citrus or perhaps it's because it goes beautifully with seafood.

This wine is made by a small family owned domaine, from a parcel of fresh, elegant Chardonnay. Roughly 90% of the grapes are fermented and aged in stainless steel and 10% are fermented and matured in French oak barrels to add a creamy texture without dominating the soft, ripe fruit flavours and gentle minerality. It remains beautifully textured with a silky mouth feel and a focused palate that lingers on the finish.
