Our beloved friend and winemaker Steve Grimley has been making exceptional Aussie wines for as long as we can remember. Renowned for his drove of black pigs which roam his vineyard, he thought it was only right to name this wine after his first and most beloved pig, Tanuki. Crafted from 100% McLaren Vale Shiraz, there was no expense spared in the making of this remarkable small batch Shiraz. With a nose of abundant ripe black fruit, liquorice and flint followed by an indulgent palate of dark plum, spice, cassis and cinnamon, this wine will pair perfectly with a premium Sirloin steak or roasted lamb chops. This wine is legendary!

This Coastal Region Cape exclusive is made from a selection of barrels and, like all the best blends, captures the best of each component and, in this bottling, expresses the dark heart of this sumptuous region. There's a lovely dark berry fruit intensity to the nose that is given a little fresh blackcurrant lift. These characters follow onto the palate with increased focus on the ripe dark fruit, which is layered with spice and exceptionally ripe plum before a long and muscular finish.

Oaky Chardonnay can split opinions, but when done properly the toasty oak underpins the naturally fresh fruit and it is something of true beauty and refinement. Think top end, classy Burgundies like Premiere Cru Meursault or Puligny-Montrachet. Here the balance is perfect: clean, bright citrus flavours nestled against toasted nuts and a long, smooth finish. The oak does not overpower the natural freshness of the Coonawarra fruit but instead works in harmony, making this a true masterpiece.

The Garganega grape is renowned for making exceptional white wines in Veneto, such as Soave, but here in L'Ornato Bianco it partners with a small proportion of noble Chardonnay to excite your tastebuds. Winemakers Maurizio and Martino Biscardo, brothers from a family with over 150 years of winemaking experience, have skilfully created this white from some of their old vines. The wine has a delicate nose with floral notes and hints of citrus and yellow orchard fruits. In the mouth it is fresh, mineral and very well structured with a beautifully deft balance.

Elgin is a unique region in South Africa's Western Cape - the only one to be surrounded by mountains and officially the coolest, very rarely getting above 30C during the height of the ripening season. The vines thrive in these conditions, having the perfect amount of stress to produce first-class grapes packed with flavour intensity and a broad spectrum of character. As a result, they are much sought-after, and this exclusive release combines super-crisp Sauvignon Blanc with a (very) old-vine parcel of Semillon.
