The greatest thing about our Billy Bosch wines is the natural feel they possess. Focus of the nose of this pure Merlot is classic cherry and plum fruit with a little darker fruit intensity underneath. The palate starts off all juicy and full before crisper red berried notes, lending freshness, take over, keeping the wine in perfect balance. Great with a midweek meal like spaghetti bolognese, or nibbles and a movie.

A delicious mixture of spicy red berry fruit with dense and jammy blackcurrant compote, all wrapped up and softened by a layer of classy, sweet vanilla oak creating a complex, high-end Cape red with a rich, long and well-balanced finish. The grapes come from a couple of top-class vineyard sites in the exceptional Swartland region and are made into an impressive and impactful red by winemaker Alecia Boshoff, one of South Africa's very best.

Malbec seems to be the buzz word in bars and households up and down the country. So what happens when the South African's get hold of some vines for themselves? Here Ryno and his team have been experimenting with classically rich Cape Shiraz and rounding it out by blending in some home-grown Malbec. The result is a rush of primary dark berry fruit, with mouth-watering fleshiness from the Malbec. This perfectly rounds out the natural spiciness of the Shiraz, making it another welcome addition to the Billy Bosch range!

Pinotage is a special grape variety in that it is a combination of Pinot Noir and Cinsault, exclusively planted in South Africa, and tastes nothing like either variety individually. For this bottling, we've teamed it up with Shiraz. Each variety was harvested and fermented separately and then brought together in the winery cellar to create a wine packed with fruit character, masses of drinkability and an easy-to-enjoy profile that can be paired with a wide variety of main dishes or a selection of nibbles.
