This release forms a part of Glenfiddich's experimental series and is a collaborative effort between this legendary Scotch producer and the Speyside Craft Brewing Company. They crafted a special IPA, aged it in ex-Glenfiddich casks for a month then returned them to the distillery where they were filled with whisky and left to finish for three months. The result is an impressive mixture of classic Speyside single malt characters that mingle with fresh green apples and a subtle tang of fresh hops.
