It takes a lot of patience and more, often than not, a good deal of trial and error to hit on the right formula when looking to create a new drink. Born out of Head Distiller Caley Shoemaker's love of the Californian Mandarin, this release from Hangar One is a case in point. After several trials distilling the fruit with no joy, she decided to try the flowers instead. The result was an emphatic one and by doing so they have captured the experience of peeling an orange in liquid form.
