This is a classic dark rum distilled in the British Virgin Islands in an ancient copper pot-still. Aged in oak until it has soaked up all that the wood has to offer and reached its toffee-laden peak. This a a dark and brooding rum but careful work in the blending room has preserved the ethos of Old J keeping the vanilla sweetness and zest of Persian limes well intact.
