The Spirit The Spirit
Italy
From their world-class distillery just outside Udine in the Friuli, north eastern Italy. All Bepi Tosolini grappas are made from grape pomace which is distilled within 48 hours of pressing for a bright, fragrant character. Here they use the Glera varietal, used to craft Prosecco, and it created an intense spirit with floral aromas followed by a sweet, delicate flavour with a finish showing layers of orchard fruit.
The Distillery The Distillery
The Tosolini Company was founded by Bepi Tosolini shortly after WWII and is based on the natural and simple family tradition of grappa production. It was during the 1950s that things really started to gather some pace and Bepi went ahead and constructed a new distillery and, at the same time, built the largest grappa cellar in Italy! Today, Giovanni, Bepi's eldest son, continues with the philosophy, and family tradition instilled by his father.
